TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your engagement of services from JS Remodeling & Handyman ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking a project, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Agreement

A service agreement is formed when we confirm your booking. The project scope, surfaces to be painted, and total price are agreed upon at the time of booking.

2. Project Timeline

Estimated timelines are provided at booking and may vary based on weather, surface conditions, and project scope. We will communicate any schedule changes as early as possible.

3. Site Preparation

You agree to:

• Clear the work area of furniture, decor, and personal items where possible, or allow us to assist with moving.
• Provide safe access to surfaces to be painted, including parking and entry.
• Inform us of any existing damage or special conditions.

4. Surface Conditions

We prep all surfaces thoroughly, but pre-existing issues such as peeling paint, water damage, or structural defects may require additional work:

• Repairs beyond standard prep may incur additional charges.
• We are not responsible for underlying defects hidden by paint.
• Moisture or structural problems should be resolved prior to painting.

We will notify you of any conditions that may affect the finish before work begins.

5. Payment

Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking or project completion. Additional charges for extra surfaces, repairs, or changes to scope will be communicated and billed separately.

6. Liability

We take care to protect your property, but we are not liable for pre-existing damage or issues caused by underlying surface conditions. We carry full insurance and will address any damage caused directly by our crew.

7. Cancellation

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time will receive a full refund of any deposit. Later cancellations may be subject to a fee.

8. Communications Consent

I agree to terms & conditions provided by the company. By providing my phone number, I agree to receive text messages and emails from the business. I understand I can opt out at any time.
